Love.

Hey guys,

This week has been lovely and relaxing. I am definitely ready for the summer break. Although I am currently feeling pretty inspired lately so hopefully I will get my final project to a better standard than the rest of my assignments. Anyway, before I begin this post I will leave a link to my previous post HERE, where I spoke about the new Makeup Revolution palette.

So recently I have been following a lot more 'body positivity' Instagram accounts - mainly plus size -  to try and fully feel great in the skin that I have and to embrace it. These people are fantastic, inspirational. They get hate daily and yet still post videos and photos to inspire us. I find that amazing. They're definitely strong women.

Sadly I did stumble across a video that started out great, really supportive and such but then she said something about thin people. I wont quote or try to because I'm not 100% sure on what she said. But she basically referred to bigger women being better than the rest. That's just not fair in my eyes. When trying to be such a role model, you should accept everyone. Every size and shape is beautiful. We should be equals in my opinion.

I saw an illustration on Instagram that said, 'big tits are cute, Small tits are cute, big butts are cute, small butts are cute, big tummies are cute, small tummies are cute'. And I love it. That is the sort of thing that should be shared around. Not that one is superior than the other.

I have also just watched the One Love Manchester concert on BBC1. I can honestly say I'm proud to be British. The attack in Manchester and London were both awful, but seeing at the concert, how we all truly come together really made me so proud. I must say I teared up a fair few times. I loved Ariana before everything happened but now I just adore her even more. I have so much respect for her. For her to hold a concert with other supporting artists, raising money for the people affected is amazing. She could've done nothing. I also read online that she is paying for the funerals of the victims - I obviously don't know how true this is but if it is I'm sure that's such a big help for the family and friends.

I hope this strong bond we seem to have at the moment stays with us. Love truly does overcome hate.

And with that I shall leave you.

Adios amigos!xo

P.S. please be safe x
