Then & Now...

Hey guys,

I hope you have all had a lovely week. I certainly have, despite stress haha.

This post probably won't be very long, or interesting to you guys. Its mainly for me. To see how much I've changed/or not over the years. I'm still only 18 but still. Since starting my blog, my makeup has improved immensely and I just wonder if anything else has altered.

The photos don't go back so far (Except one) as they're either off Facebook or my iPad as this is all I have. Beware, some of the photos will be cringey.

Well..I personally don't think I have changed that much. I have just discovered makeup over the years haha - and learned how to apply it! I loved doing this. It has taken me a few hours to type this mainly because of music but also because I love looking back at old memories. I think taking photos and keeping them is a good thing to do for the future. I mean, it came in handy for this post.

I guess that's all I have to say for now, except that I hope you all have a kick ass week.

Hopefully next week will be more entertaining, but hey, its me...

The 100th Catch up.

Hey guys,

This obviously isn't a 100th catch up post, just trying to throw some humour into the title haha. So funny I know.

So what's happened this week..?

Well, I've had a week off because of half term which has been very much appreciated. Have I touched any college work that needs to be done? NO. Will I leave it until last minute? YEP.

On Tuesday I passed my practical driving test. YEAH (honestly I was shitting it, sorry for the language but I was.) So now I've just got to find a car and make sure all the adult-y stuff is taken care of AKA my mum will be on that job haha thanks mummy!

The rest of the week consisted of sorting out cupboards, cleaning and searching for cars. So definitely not the most exciting week that I have had but I guess I'm okay with it for once. Having a nice relaxing week snuggling with my cat isn't so bad.


I had a bit of a bad dream last night and I feel like its a dream that's opened my eyes. Like I understand what my brain was thinking in a sense.

Basically (Not that you'll be bothered) I was taken to a really high place, maybe like the wing of a stationary plane on a hill. I don't know but something high, I hate how dreams can be vague. And some sort of man stabbed me repeatedly ranging from my arm, to my neck, to my back e.c.t. It was quite a bit busy with people around and I was full on screaming. So much so I don't think I could possibly even do that. All of the people looked straight at me and carried on doing their thing. Take that as what you will.

Also in the dream I had to run so it was basically a nightmare lmao. There was a lot more to the dream but I feel like I've spoken so much about it already and it could be boring. Maybe I could do a post dedicated to dreams I've had, the ones I remember and such. If that sounds kind of interesting or that it would at least fit with my quality of content, (Ha Ha) let me know!


I guess I will end this post here as I have ran out of moderately interesting things to talk about. So I hope you all have a great week. Are you all looking forward to March? I know Lia is as she is finally turning 18, lots of exciting things to come in March! For me (and Lia) anyway.

Valentine's Day Makeup!

I have been looking forward to writing this and creating a look for Valentine's day, I don't know why as I haven't got anything planned. But maybe I will wear it anyway because why not.
My original idea was to use masking tape to create a heart shape near the crease of the eye, however it just wouldn't stay stuck down so I had to improvise. To be perfectly honest, I would probably love this look more anyways, I adore it!

I wanted that was stereotypically romance related, such as pinks, reds and such however remember this is just 'inspiration'. If you want to wear green eyeshadow and black lipstick or whatever you can, its also important to love yourself. - Now the soppy part is over, lets get to the look.

The makeup I used:

Face:
Revlon Colourstay foundation
Rimmel Match Perfection Highlighting concealer
Rimmel Stay Matte powder
Makeup Revolution Baked blush (Loved Me The Best)
Maybelline MasterSculpt Duo
Sleek Solstice Highlighting palette (cream as a base and then the pink shade on top)

Lips:
Bourjois Velvet liquid lipstick

Eyebrows:
Soap & Glory Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil

Eyes:
Rimmel concealer (the one above)
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara
Nyx Vivid Brights liquid eyeliner (Petal) - dotted around the eye.
Nyx White liquid liner - also dotted around the eye, with a little heart just next to the right eye.
Kiss false lashes (Iconic)

- All palettes are Makeup Revolution -
Affirmation palette: 'Pledge' all over the lid, 'Approve' & 'Hope' in the crease/a transition shade. 'Willing' in the outer corners, 'Advance' in the middle of the lid with 'Affirmation' on top for a halo eye. Also adding Affirmation in the inner corners to highlight.
Fortune Favours the Brave palette: 'Drama Queen' in the inner and outer corners.

I hope you all love this look as much as I do. You can also obviously experiment with the dots, you could use more colours or less, make the spots bigger or smaller. It's really up to you. I tried to make mine near the shape of a wing extending it up in the crease, if you can tell from the photos.

I hope you all have a lovely Valentine's  Day. It will either be a great day or a sad day for me but I'm sure i'll update you. I love you all!

What if..'Everyone was happy'

Hey guys,

Just a heads up this post is probably going to get deep. So beware.
I think I did a 'What if' post a while back, If I did I will link it HERE.

So, What if everyone was happy?


I think that's a tricky one.

Imagine this. Everyone you pass in the street are smiling. They may or may not have everything they need in life but none the less, they're happy.

 Does this mean they all have manners? Does this mean all of them are nicer people?

One thing I hate is when someone has no manners. If you do something nice for someone surly they should be grateful and say thank you and such. So if everyone was to be happy, would this mean that they think more positively of everything? That they recognise the kind gestures, and say thank you just because they're in a better mood overall?

On the other hand, do you think that people would be more generous? Maybe stereotypes wouldn't exist anymore. Maybe there would be less homeless people, maybe people wouldn't have as many problems.

Just think about it, imagine everyone you've ever passed or smiled at. (again)
They'd be smiling, non-judgemental. Kind and thoughtful of other people. They wouldn't have any issues in their life, if they did they would be minor and easily fixed.

If someone fell, would they run and help them?
If an OAP fell, would they run and help them?
If a middle aged person fell, would they run and help?
If a teenager fell, would they run and help?
If someone of any age with tattoos and piercings fell, would they help them?
If someone of any religion/race/background (etc.) fell, would they help them?

Would there be equality and less pre-judgement? Do you think everyone would be accepted?

Do you think someone could have their views totally opposite to someone else and be able to shake their hand?

In my mind, if every single person on earth was happy and positive, there would be no bad habits, no judgement, no wars, no violence, no stereotyping, no pain.

But surly we'd all get bored. What would we even work towards?
Its not reality, but What if?


I know a lot of this post has been in the form of a question, including the title... but that's the point. I'd like for people to think about this.
