Going to a Wedding Fair!

Hey guys,

So I have no idea whether I have mentioned this in a previous post but Lee proposed to my sister on the 25th of September in Manchester and I couldn't be more happier for them.

They have been together for a good few years, I think I was ten years old so maybe 7 years, I have no clue. I don't really remember a time without Lee. It's like he has always been in the family for me. I don't have the best memory - I vaguely remember Samantha having previous relationships but nothing that made a difference in my life - to be honest, I doubt I even knew at the time. It was just a case of 'oh Samantha's going out? cool, what's for tea?'. As in, it wasn't really my business and didn't really care all that much haha.

But I think the first memory I have of knowing about Lee is when Samantha got all dressed up and went up to Manchester with Lee for the weekend. She was so happy. Obviously I don't really remember what I was doing but I do know that it was so lovely to see her happy. This could also have been the time where she had an allergic reaction to a face mask the night before which my mum and I found quite hilarious. However Sam did not. Sorry!

Anyway, anyway...onto the point. They're getting married in like a year or two. So that's happening. Haha. Today we went to a wedding fair which was pretty close by - just to look around. I loved it. I didn't really know what to expect but it was nice.

Obviously I took a fair few photos, which i shall include below. Just because I like to also think of my blog as a diary, so it makes sense to have these photos to look back on. Some aren't great but I like them, So enjoy!

 (a lot of laughs.)

 This makes me laugh. aww.

This is one of my favourite photos that I took today. I mean, Lee doesn't look like he's loving it but Samantha looks extremely happy and beautiful while being so. (Lee, you should really smile more:)).

I guess that's all i have to say for this post. I really enjoyed looking at everything - which sounds odd but true. It was nice to see everyone else looking at things like cake and dresses and looking so excited. I don't know, it just made me really happy. I hope one day I am as happy with someone just like these two.

I love you all. Have an awesome week.

Happy Mothers Day!

Hey guys,

So today is mothers day, or 'Mothering Sunday' if you will. As I'm sure you all know it is a day to really show your mum they are loved and appreciated by you.

Firstly, you don't have to do this with money. You can just make sure they feel loved by telling them, hugging them or just spending quality time together such as watching a film you both enjoy. I mean, everyone loves a gift, and I'm not saying don't buy them one because it's not special, but showing someone you love them is more valuable than any gift.

Personally I always buy my mum slippers just because she likes to have a spare pair so every 'holiday' I get a chance to give her some, I do. She loves it. Even though she always knows she is getting some, she always acts surprised which never fails to make me smile.
This time, I decided to paint her a picture. which yes, in a way sounds childish. But that's kind of what I was going for.

When you are young and learning to write and draw - the stage where its a squiggle, typically mums keep them because of the sentimental value. I know my mum has kept a good few of mine over the years.

So I wanted this painting to mean a lot also. When I was at school one of my art home works took me forever to do but I loved it and so did my mum (although the one I'm talking about isn't her favourite which would've been better). So, I have decided to recreate the piece on an actual canvas so she can do what she likes, whether it's pretending to like it and hiding it or maybe having it on show in the house.

The point is that I have made it and had that thought, and I know my mum likes these things. I guess the creative/thoughtful gestures are the ones that mean the most. So, what I am saying is, you should spoil your mum rotten, After all, you did cause her pain for 9 months or so and then need taking care of all these years (obviously depending on how old you are).

I really love my mum and I am pretty sure she knows it. I tell her every single day. In fact, every single time I leave the same room. She is my mum and my best friend. I hope you all are the same. If you have argued lately, try and sort it out, I'm sure she is dying to do so. If your mum is in heaven, I send love and hugs to you all. (<3)

Also don't forget that this day isn't just for mums, it can also be for Grandma's and Godmothers etc. So don't forget to spoil them too!

I hope you all had a loving and great day.
Go give your mum a hug, right now. Just to show you love them.
Have a good week.

Healthy Habits?!

hey guys,

Look at me keeping this 'two-a-week' thing going! Haha, maybe it'll last, maybe it wont. Any way, the purpose of these Sundays posts is to motivate you ready for the week ahead, (I explained this in a previous blog post) and who doesn't need to be motivated to eat healthily? OK maybe there's a few that don't, but I certainly did.
Last year I lost quite a lot of weight as a result of eating better than what I did and everyone around me noticed. Therefore resulting in better moods and more confidence. Towards the end of each year the fruit starts to lose its delicious-ness, This then lead to me to stop reaching for fruit and grab a chocolate bar instead.

Well now all the fruit is tasty again, I want to go back to the way I was and I'd love it if you would all join me. Personally I'm not just doing this to lose weight but to also be fitter and have a better lifestyle - so this may take some work for me. If some of you reading this make a lot of smoothies please feel free to leave some idea's in the comments!:)
Today I MADE my mum and dad take me to Sainsburry's in order to buy some fruit ready for my breakfast tomorrow (and the following days of course). I bought lots of goodies as you can see in the picture below, there were more things but were irrelevant haha, (no, they weren't chocolate)

If you can see in that picture, there are some plain oats. I add these to my smoothies now as they act as your carbohydrate which makes the meal balanced more but they also make you feel fuller for longer. Just add a small handful to each smoothie and you will be able to tell the difference. Right now, as I am writing this post, I am drinking a smoothie (banana, blue berry, raspberry with yoghurt, milk, ice cubes and oats) and it is the most delicious thing I have ever made. (I use a Breville Blend active blender) Just thought I'd let you know, I will even be nice enough to give you a picture:)

I know this slightly went off topic but I hope you all join me by being healthy. Besides eating better means better moods, and better moods mean better mondays! So what's stopping you?

NOTHING.

I love you all.

Being Perfect?

hey guys,

I hope you all are okay..I know I am.

Recently I have been on YouTube and looking for new people to subscribe too. I wasn't really successful but I watched some old videos of Emma Blackery (if you don't know who she is, CHECK HER OUT!), and I obviously noticed she had a couple of music videos and I really, REALLY liked one called 'Perfect', which ironically is about being perfect the way you are and it is such a lovely song. Personally she reminds me of Paramore, so if you like them or that type of music, I'm sure you will like hers.

Basically, everyday and everywhere I go I see people - especially teens - who are unhappy with themselves and always pick at their features. I know the most common things are weight and skin. but does it REALLY matter? You are allowed spots, you will get spots.. your a teenager! It happens and if it doesn't, consider yourself lucky! And a lot of people hate their weight whether, you think 'I'm fat' or 'I'm too skinny'. DONT! I can only really say for people who say their fat as I am one of you, but don't EVER use words like 'fat', 'skinny', etc, use nice words like 'I'm beautiful' or 'I'm smart'. everyone picks on the things they don't like about themselves when you could pick out the things that you like instead. For example, I like my hair and I have a hair routine so I can keep it the way I like it, I'm also losing weight (slowly..) so I can say I'm the weight I want to be, I also like my legs. So even though I hate my arms or my hands etc I focus on the things I like when picking outfits or even just looking in the mirror.

A lot of people will look in the mirror and see if their spot is obvious, when they could look how nice their eyes are or hair. So PLEASEEE do this in future. That's all I ask of you.

Well anyway, Emma's 'perfect' song also tells us this and I LOVE IT! which is what inspired me to write this. I know its not the best quality blog as I'm rambling a lot but I'm currently sat at in my ICT classroom after school and I thought of the idea so I thought I would write down my thoughts..

please let me know in the comments if you have any specific topics you would like me to write about. I am hoping to do a blog with nice photos some time soon. So keep your eyes peeled:)

I love you all!
